President Bazer began the meeting at 7 PM.

Our Newest Member, Johnny Quest was asked to introduce himself. Welcome Johnny!
A motion was made to accept the March meeting minutes and was seconded.
Attendance to monthly meetings has been low, is their a different day or time that may work better for people’s schedules?
Treasurer’s Report:
Beginning Balance was $574.39
Bank Fees: -$16
Ending Balance: $574.23

ACB National Convention, July 5-12, Jacksonville Fl
A virtual option is available.
Concerns about transportation to convention were raised as well as navigating an unfamiliar hotel.
It was explained that individuals do not have to stay for the entire convention.
Volunteers are available to assist with navigation in the hotel.
A question was raised about the topics covered at Convention, and how one chooses what sessions to attend.

It was suggested to read through the available options and plan your trip ahead of time. Some examples of activities held at convention include:
The exhibit area is open Wednesday to Sunday – various pieces of technology will be available to explore.
General sessions: speakers on various topics and votes are conducted.
Tours of the local area.
You are not required to be at any specific session or activity.
Hotel is likely to have restaurants.
You can have groceries delivered so you don’t have to eat out the entire time.
Members expressed interest in rooming together.
Gathered information about rates for various transportation options from SC to FL:
Amtrak
roomier than an airplane, no TSA. Takes significantly longer then a flight
Cost from Charleston to Jacksonville: $109
Cost from Columbia: $49 each way
Greyhound:
Myrtle Beach to Jacksonville: $122 round trip, takes 9 hours.
